Engineered access from construction hoists to wind towers and facades
Alimak Group is the listed parent behind five decentralised vertical-access divisions and the Alimak, Scanclimber, Tractel, CoxGomyl, Manntech and Avanti brands. Their systems move workers and materials on construction sites, provide permanent access inside industrial plants and wind towers, reach complex facades, and arrest falls or lift loads. Equipment sales feed a long installed-base relationship spanning inspections, parts, digital monitoring, refurbishment and replacement across more than 120 markets.

Alimak's Scando 650a is a temporary construction hoist; its SE is a permanent industrial passenger-and-freight elevator. CoxGomyl and Manntech engineer building-maintenance units for facade access. Avanti's Shark, Dolphin, Barracuda, Pegasus and Octopus service lifts work inside wind towers. Tractel's Blocfor arrests falls, while Tirak hoists move people or materials. Scanclimber adds mast-climbing platforms within the issuer's brand portfolio.

Installed references sit beside clearly labelled demonstrations
At Karlatornet, Alimak installed five hoists to separate passenger and material flows over 246 metres; at Brazil's Balsa Nova cement plant, a 119-metre SL-H 2000 remained for maintenance after construction. Manntech delivered three BMUs for Seoul's Parc1 towers, while CoxGomyl's film shows its facade system at 20 Fenchurch Street. In late 2025, Avanti commissioned a Pegasus L inside a 160-metre Shandong wind tower. Tractel's Tracrod film is a confined-space anchor demonstration, not a customer delivery.

Footprint and lifecycle
A global factory network serves equipment for decades
Alimak reports 26 production and assembly facilities in 15 countries, operations in 28 and sales across more than 120 markets. More than 26,000 installed units use proprietary controls; service spans inspections, repairs, digital monitoring, upgrades, refurbishment and replacement. At Borg Havn, technicians renewed a port-crane elevator after 25 years. Avanti separately refurbishes wind-tower lifts from initial assessment through final installation and recertification.

History and positioning
Product invention became a five-division growth platform
Founded in Skelleftea in 1948, Alimak introduced a steel construction passenger hoist in 1953, a rack-and-pinion mast-climbing platform in 1956 and a rack-and-pinion construction hoist in 1962. Acquisitions added Avanti and Facade Access Group in 2017 and Tractel in 2022. Today the issuer delegates market strategy to five divisions; New Heights 2.0 targets current offers, key segments, lifecycle services, geographic expansion, technology partnerships and selective M&A for 2026-2030.
