These terms apply to the European Growth Leaders website (egl100.org), to the films published on its YouTube channel and to EGL Video Publisher, the owner’s internal tool for publishing the films through the YouTube API Services. By using the website or watching the films, you accept them. By using EGL Video Publisher, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service.

Who runs the website

The website egl100.org and the YouTube channel European Growth Leaders belong to Francesco Castellaneta, who runs them as a private individual for the Growth Leaders Observatory, an independent, academic and non-commercial research observatory. Professional affiliations do not imply institutional endorsement.

General information, not investment advice

The website, its reports and the films are retrospective academic research, provided for general information only. They are not personalised investment advice, a valuation, an offer, or a recommendation to buy, sell or hold a security. Do not rely on them alone for an investment decision. Historical growth and returns do not predict future performance. We work carefully, but errors or omissions may remain, and the content is provided as it is.

Data and sources

The ranking and its growth and return measures, on the website and in the films, are calculated from LSEG Workspace data and are credited “LSEG Workspace” wherever they appear. They are published for academic, non-commercial research; do not extract or redistribute the underlying data. Company facts come from the companies’ own public documents, which the company pages cite.

Using our content

You may link to the website and the films and quote short passages with attribution; see “How to cite” in the Method section. Photographs and other third-party material shown in the films remain subject to their own licences, credited in the films.

Films on YouTube

Our films are published on our YouTube channel, European Growth Leaders. By watching or interacting with them on YouTube, you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and the Google Privacy Policy applies to your use of YouTube. YouTube, not us, operates the player and any advertising, comments or recommendations shown there.
