Company profile

Digital systems for institutions, freight and data-intensive decisions

Altia Consultores designs, builds and operates digital systems for public institutions and businesses. The useful story is not a generic catalogue of cloud, data and software services, but the workflows those skills support: an EIB Group client portal, electronic public tenders, railway-freight traceability, a logistics control tower and hotel analytics spanning tens of billions of records. Proprietary products sit beside partner technologies and long-running delivery teams, including a dedicated European-institutions unit headquartered in Rotterdam.

Public and European institutions

Portals, case files and tenders become operating systems

Altia European Services works from Rotterdam with more than 400 specialists and reports over 40 European-project references. The EIB Group selected Altia to analyse, design and implement a shared client portal in OutSystems. Spain's National Heritage uses the WECO case processor across contracting, human resources, events and restoration workflows for more than 1,000 users. Mercurio takes public procurement from tender publication to electronic signing and reports more than 5,000 tenders processed.

Freight and transport

Control Tower follows goods across fleets, terminals and modes

Altia Control Tower brings carriers, transport systems and live operating data into one transport-management view. In an Adif pilot it followed rail freight from Algeciras to Zaragoza, recording terminal and intermediate events. Incarlopsa connected its own fleet and about fifteen external logistics providers, TMS and GPS feeds, driver inputs and cold-chain sensors. SIMPLE extends the same interoperability idea across Spanish port, rail, airport, road and IoT data with round-the-clock support.

Data and application engineering

Large data estates connect to faster application delivery

For Iberostar, Altia redesigned data integration around Microsoft Fabric: the official case covers more than 50 billion records, query-time reductions of up to 90% and procurement savings of about 20%. Altia added more than 110 data, AI and training professionals through the Verne transaction. Its OutSystems practice reports more than 15 years of experience, over 100 customers and 600 technical certifications, linking low-code delivery to full application lifecycles.

Footprint and strategy

A Spanish base now supports a wider European delivery network

Altia reports 4,200 people, ten countries, more than 30 locations and four data centres. Its Rotterdam office is the headquarters of Altia European Services, a team serving more than 30 European institutions. The 2025–2026 plan emphasises organic development, integration of recent acquisitions and contracts with organisations including EUIPO, EPO and EASA. Altia's official English corporate film provides a concise visual introduction to the group, its services and international footprint.
