Regional builders, specialist trades and visible Walloon projects
Moury Construct SA is the listed parent of a family-controlled Walloon building group, not the contractor name behind every site. Liège-based Entreprises G. Moury and Gilly-based Bemat are its main general contractors; Mosabois supplies timber joinery and insulation, while D-FI and its Volt-Air subsidiary add HVAC and related electrical-panel capabilities. Mourylux remains the Luxembourg entity but mainly provided advice and assistance to group companies in 2025. The group reported about 350 employees and uses autonomous operating teams rather than one monolithic brand.

Two regional builders and a stack of specialist trades
Formal public-works credentials show how work is split. G. Moury works mainly in southern Belgium and holds class 8D, which permits public-building tenders without a value ceiling; Bemat holds class 7D plus civil-engineering and earthworks classes. Mosabois makes and installs timber joinery and thermal or acoustic insulation. D-FI handles heating, ventilation, cooling and sanitary systems; its Volt-Air subsidiary makes ventilation ducts and electrical panels for HVAC. The parent controls these businesses while day-to-day management remains decentralised.

Current work
Student housing, a technology hub and a city hotel
The group reported a €371.5 million order book at 28 February 2026, with €224.9 million at G. Moury and €134.0 million at Bemat. ULiège planned renovation of 360 Sart-Tilman student rooms from February 2026. Bemat and Duchêne were delivering the new E6K building and rehabilitation of A6K's postal-centre hub. Charleroi says construction of a 145-room, 17-storey Van der Valk hotel began on 17 March 2026, with opening planned for December 2027. These are company, consortium and client timelines, not group-only achievements. A G. Moury update modified on 24 June said RESA was scheduled to move into the former Institut Montefiore on 30 June as the project entered its final phase; 10 apartments and a gastronomic space were still future deliveries.

Adaptive reuse
Existing structures became a trade fair, knowledge centre and creative hub
City documents name Duchêne, Koeckelberg, Bemat and Moury as contractors on Charleroi's Grand Palais; Bemat records provisional acceptance in 2025. The completed building then won the 2026 EUmies Architecture Prize for architects AgwA and AJDVIV—an architectural distinction, not a contractor award. In Liège, the Province's contract record names the Moury-Galère-BPC team for the 15,000 m² B3 knowledge centre, which opened in 2023. Noshaq's project dossier describes Le Fiacre as a 16th-century Gothic-Renaissance property partly listed since 1962 and records the plan to house the PLUG-R creative hub and a business centre there; G. Moury's project record identifies its teams on the renovation.

History and direction
A century-old family builder is adding skills without centralising them
Gilles Moury founded the business in 1920; a prefabrication plant followed in 1963, Bemat joined under the third generation, the listed holding lineage began with Solinvest in 1988 and the fourth generation entered in 1999. Moury says it targets selective acquisitions in construction, finishing and specialist systems, including beyond its existing geographic radius, while preserving subsidiary autonomy. In 2026 G. Moury published its first simplified VSME report. BCCA then certified the Level 3 CO₂-management system of Moury Gilles SA and Menuiserie Mosane (Mosabois) from 5 June 2026 to 6 June 2029; the certificate does not name D-FI or the whole listed group. G. Moury's environment page targets 20% reduction by 2029 and 40% by 2034 from a 2024 baseline, not achieved results.

What is changing at Moury Construct in 2026?
Three operating milestones define 2026 so far: a stated RESA move-in date at Montefiore, glass facades emerging at A6K's Tri Postal reuse, and a Level 3 CO₂ certificate with a narrower scope than the listed group.

01 · Heritage reuse
Montefiore reaches a contractor-stated RESA move-in date
G. Moury's project page was updated on 24 June to say RESA was scheduled to move into the former Institut Montefiore on 30 June. The contractor framed that milestone as the point at which the adaptive-reuse project would enter its final phase. The same update said the following months were expected to bring delivery of 10 high-end apartments and opening of a gastronomic space. No later bound source confirms RESA's actual occupation, the apartment handover or the gastronomic opening, and the page does not identify RESA as owner or tenant. The evidence therefore supports a dated contractor schedule and a mixed-use final phase, not completed occupancy. This distinction matters because the date had passed by the 28 August evidence cutoff without a separate completion notice.

Charleroi's former postal centre begins to reveal its glass facade
A6K's 20 May update said curtain walls and cladding at the former Charleroi postal sorting centre were in their final phases, with scaffolding and protective coverings progressively disappearing and new glass facades becoming visible. A6K called the transformation an industrial and technology hub in its “home stretch” and said it was almost ready to open; those are A6K's project descriptions, not a completed opening. Moury Construct's Bemat page separately names Bemat together with Duchêne as contractors for two scopes: construction of the new E6K innovation and training building and rehabilitation of the existing A6K “Tri Postal” building. Bemat is therefore neither the sole contractor nor the project owner, and no source here confirms formal handover or an opening date.

03 · CO₂ management
Level 3 covers Moury Gilles SA and Menuiserie Mosane (Mosabois), not the whole group
A BCCA certificate issued on 5 June states that the CO₂ performance-management system of Moury Gilles SA and Menuiserie Mosane, the Mosabois entity, corresponds to Level 3 for general public and private works. It is valid from 5 June 2026 to 6 June 2029. The certificate does not name listed parent Moury Construct or D-FI. That makes it narrower than the 2025 annual report's earlier statement that G. Moury and D-FI were working toward Level 3. Separately, G. Moury's environment page publishes reduction objectives of 20% by 2029 and 40% by 2034 from a 2024 baseline. Certification of a management system does not establish that those future reductions have been achieved or that the certificate covers every group construction site.
