Company profile

Protein snacks, automated production and an export network

Tarczynski recasts Polish cured-meat traditions as portable protein snacks. Its umbrella brand covers kabanos, frankfurters, cold cuts, Naturalnie, Gryzzale children's products and Protein jerky, while Vege Story extends the portfolio into plant-based alternatives. Two Polish production plants and dedicated distribution companies in Germany, the United Kingdom, the United States and Romania support sales across more than thirty countries; founders Elżbieta and Jacek Tarczyński remain central to the family-controlled group.

Products and occasions

Kabanos becomes a portable protein platform

Exclusive kabanos comes in chicken, veal, beef, pork and turkey; Loaded adds cheddar, dried tomato or barbecue fillings. Naturalnie uses short ingredient lists without preservatives, Protein includes chicken kabanos and beef or pork jerky, and Vege Story offers 3 Seeds, Piri-Piri and Original plant-based kabanos.

Production and R&D

A 60,000-square-metre snack plant is the operating core

Ujeździec Mały makes kabanos, frankfurters and dry-cured sausages; the smaller Bielsko-Biała plant makes hams and block products. The group already prepares its own spice mixes, while its development programme targets automated packing, cartoning and palletising plus further vertical integration in casings and meat cutting. R&D also explores protein blends from peas and marine macroalgae.

Markets and model

Thirty-plus countries, with local routes to the shelf

Exports represented 30.1% of group sales in 2024. Dedicated companies distribute in Germany and Austria, the United Kingdom, North America, Romania and neighbouring markets; the wider customer base includes roughly one hundred retail chains and fifty wholesalers, with products sold under Tarczynski, Snack It and private labels.

Family and brand

A 1991 meat machine became a listed snack business

Jacek Tarczyński recalls that his wife Elżbieta persuaded him to invest in a meat-processing machine; production began on 26 February 1991, with kabanos chosen as a quality-led speciality. The founders and their sons remain visible in governance, while an official corporate film turns the plants, people and products into a short visual tour.
