Company profile
Trade communities made visible, useful and international
Italian Exhibition Group builds specialist marketplaces around industries that rarely meet in the same room. Its events connect products and machinery with buyers, skills, trends and scientific content: artisan gelato at SIGEP World, jewellery manufacturing at Vicenzaoro, environmental technologies at Ecomondo and global tourism at TTG Travel Experience. Rimini and Vicenza provide the physical hubs, while digital tools, media, congresses and international editions keep each community active beyond the show floor.
Foodservice in motion
SIGEP turns five crafts into one working marketplace
SIGEP World links gelato, pastry and chocolate, coffee, bakery and pizza with ingredients, equipment and professional skills. Its English educational series explains what distinguishes artisan gelato, while official films make the pizza and gelato supply chains tangible rather than leaving them as category names.

Jewellery ecosystem
Vicenzaoro places design beside the machinery that makes it
Vicenzaoro spans brands, unbranded production, gemstones, components, watches, packaging and retail presentation. T.Gold adds working equipment for casting, prototyping, laser cutting, refining and finishing. Trendvision then converts cultural and market signals into a forward-looking industry conversation.

Green technologies
Ecomondo organises ecological transition by problem
Ecomondo divides a broad policy idea into working areas such as waste recovery, water, bioenergy, regenerative bioeconomy, soil restoration and environmental monitoring. Its Innovation District connects start-ups with companies and researchers, while the technology awards show real examples ranging from water treatment to recycled materials.

Platform and reach
The venue is only one layer of the operating model
IEG combines event ownership with venue management, congresses, stand design, catering, publishing and digital participation tools. Rimini even has an on-site railway station. The worldwide network extends selected formats abroad, while TTG shows how content, buyer matching and an event app turn three trade-show days into a broader tourism platform.

Current 2026 update
What is changing at Italian Exhibition Group in 2026?
IEG is changing the physical venue, the owned-event portfolio and the way a trade fair can be embedded inside another global event. Hall 2 has moved from construction to occupancy but not yet opening; IEG acquired 51% of Global Marketing Fairs, organiser of NIS, and brought it into consolidation; IEG Arabia is organising and staging two expos inside the World Firefighters Games.
The change in one sentence
Venue capacity, event ownership and international format design are expanding together.
Each change has a different completion test: a building certificate is not an opened fair; consolidation is not a separately disclosed event contribution; a mandate and expected audience are not achieved Expo attendance. For A&T, the source records approval of a merger plan, not a completed merger or a merger-related operating effect.
Four lenses on 2026
The same four-quadrant format used in the Company profile.
01 · Vicenza reinvention
Hall 2 has occupancy approval; its first exhibitor opening remains scheduled
IEG submitted the completion document and obtained the occupancy certificate for Vicenza's new Hall 2 on 29 July. The 23,000-square-metre, two-storey building is still scheduled to open to Vicenzaoro and T.Gold exhibitors on 4 September. The project release states a EUR 60 million investment and photovoltaic capacity of 2 MW; the H1 report separately expects about EUR 14 million of additional capitalisations through Q1 2027 in relation to withheld guarantees.
- Current signalOccupancy certificate obtained · exhibitor opening scheduled 4 September
- Why it mattersThe venue has crossed a legal-completion milestone, while event operation, visitor flow and final capitalisation remain separate evidence points.

02 · Portfolio ownership
NIS enters the Brazilian portfolio while A&T moves toward parent integration
IEG Brasil acquired 51% of Global Marketing Fairs, organiser of the NIS Nutri Ingredients Summit, for BRL 20 million funded from own resources; IEG has an option on the remaining 49% in 2029, and the existing NIS members are due to remain at the helm until then. H1 includes Global Marketing Fairs in consolidation, but the reported EUR 4.9 million revenue effect combines NIS with the first Venditalia edition under IEG control. Separately, IEG acquired the remaining 49% of A&T in February for EUR 1.4 million and the Board approved a parent-company merger plan on 6 August. The source records plan approval, not merger completion, so no merger-related operating effect can yet be attributed.
- Current signalNIS: 51% acquired · A&T: 100% owned and merger plan approved
- Why it mattersIEG is adding specialist event ownership and simplifying legal structures, but neither NIS's stand-alone revenue nor any A&T merger-related operating effect can yet be isolated.

03 · Saudi event design
Two trade expos are being built inside a global sporting event
IEG Arabia was appointed to organise and stage the Fire & Safety Expo and Health & Wellness Expo at Dhahran Expo in Al Khobar from 6 to 8 November, during the 2026 World Firefighters Games. The release expects more than 7,000 athletes, 200,000 spectators and participants from 70 countries for the Games, and separately expects the Expo to attract tens of thousands of visitors. These are expectations, not achieved attendance; no Expo exhibitor count, mandate value, budget or revenue contribution is disclosed.
- Current signalGames: >7,000 athletes and 200,000 spectators expected · Expo: tens of thousands of visitors expected
- Why it mattersIEG is testing a format that nests specialist marketplaces inside a major participation event; the expected audience is visible, while commercial scale remains undisclosed.

04 · What to watch
Three questions for the next disclosures
Three questions track conversion from certificate, acquisition and mandate into operating event results.
- Hall 2 openingDoes Hall 2 become fully operational for Vicenzaoro and T.Gold on 4 September, and are final capitalisation and operating metrics disclosed?
- Portfolio integrationDoes IEG separate NIS performance and complete the A&T merger with identifiable operating changes?
- Saudi formatHow many exhibitors and visitors attend the two expos, and what mandate or revenue contribution is reported?
