Company profile
Order-to-cash applications, agents and payment intelligence
Sidetrade develops an order-to-cash platform for the work between accepting an order and receiving, matching and forecasting payment. Credit teams, accounts-receivable managers and shared-service centres use its applications to issue invoices, prioritise collections, resolve disputes and apply cash. The same environment combines a proprietary payment-behaviour Data Lake with Aimie agents that can recommend or execute governed actions while returning exceptions and transcripts to finance teams.
Applications and workflow
From a clean invoice to matched cash
Eight O2C applications share data across credit, invoicing, collections, disputes, deductions, cash application, analytics and customer self-service. E-Order and E-Invoicing synchronises orders and invoices with ERP and CRM systems; Augmented Collection selects the next account, action and channel; Cash App interprets remittance information and routes unmatched items.

Data and agentic AI
Aimie learns from how businesses actually pay
Sidetrade's Intelligence Foundation normalises payment events from live order-to-cash workflows. The H1 2026 release describes a private-cloud Data Lake covering nearly USD 9 trillion in B2B transactions across 42 million buying companies. Sidetrade says its specialised language and predictive models use this behavioural evidence for risk, timing and next-action decisions. Aimie agents can call customers, qualify invoices and escalate exceptions within policies rather than behaving as a general-purpose chatbot.

Current 2026 update
What is changing at Sidetrade in 2026?
Sidetrade's AI strategy now has three different evidence states: a named customer preparing Aimie for a real finance workflow, 80 agents on firm order, and two wider platform products pre-booked for planned Q4 production.
The change in one sentence
Sidetrade is building the agent, the customer toolset and the private infrastructure together.
Réside Etudes makes the workflow concrete; Builder Studio and Aimie IQ widen the product; the private cloud is Sidetrade's stated answer to data sovereignty and inference-cost control.
Four lenses on 2026
The same four-quadrant format used in the Company profile.
01 · Named workflow
Réside Etudes gives Aimie a concrete property-finance use case
On 29 July, Réside Etudes, a French operator of serviced residences, selected Aimie for cash collection. Sidetrade describes decentralised finance teams handling high transaction volumes across a large property portfolio. In the proposed workflow, Aimie makes context-aware calls, qualifies invoices, learns from payment behaviour and interactions, and connects its work to collection strategies and dispute management inside the Sidetrade platform. The page frames this as a selection and implementation of a new operating model; it does not report that the system is fully live or that customer results have been measured. Cash-flow gains, less manual work and more time for higher-value finance tasks are stated expectations. The page also does not establish that this selection is one of the 80 agents reported on firm order at Q2 end, so the named case and aggregate order count remain separate evidence.
- Current signalNamed customer selection · detailed workflow · benefits still expected, not measured
- Why it mattersA specific finance operation makes the agent product intelligible while leaving a clear test for later customer evidence.

02 · Build and orchestrate
Builder Studio and Aimie IQ were booked before production
At Q2 end Sidetrade reported 80 AI agents on firm order: 26 Aimie Agents and 54 Customer Agents. The two newer products occupy different layers. Agent Builder Studio gives finance teams a no-code visual environment to design custom order-to-cash agents with access to Sidetrade's models, data and applications. Aimie IQ is intended as a natural-language engagement and orchestration layer connecting people, applications and agents. Both entered the market in Q2 as firm pre-bookings, with production deployment planned for Q4 2026. That timing matters: the products had commercial commitments at the evidence cutoff, but were not yet evidenced as production systems. Sidetrade says its first AI-native product had already found commercial success with Securitas, Accor and Sodexo; the release does not turn that claim into measured outcomes for Builder Studio or Aimie IQ.
- Current signal26 Aimie + 54 Customer Agents ordered · two platform products pre-booked · Q4 production planned
- Why it mattersThe offer is moving from one specialised agent toward a platform customers can shape, but production use remains the decisive next step.

03 · Sovereign stack
The private cloud is part of the product, not just its hosting
Sidetrade says it operates its own private cloud and interconnected secure data centres on both sides of the Atlantic. Its H1 release describes a Data Lake containing nearly USD 9 trillion in B2B transactions across 42 million buying companies. The company says specialised language and predictive models run in this environment, sensitive customer financial data remains isolated and is not used to train third-party models. It also cites NVIDIA H100 and H200 GPUs, says controlling the infrastructure avoids third-party per-million-token billing, and states that the private-AI environment is certified ISO 27001 and SOC Type 2. These are issuer claims about architecture, data governance and cost visibility, not an independent audit of security, model quality or competitive advantage. Sidetrade presents this architecture as giving enterprise customers sovereignty over data and models plus visibility into AI production costs, rather than software functions alone.
- Current signalNearly USD 9tn of transactions · 42m buying companies · own-cloud and GPU claims
- Why it mattersSidetrade is making sovereignty and cost control part of its differentiation, which must be validated in production rather than assumed from architecture alone.

04 · What to watch
Three questions for the next disclosures
The next disclosures should distinguish orders, production deployments and realised finance outcomes.
- Réside resultsDoes Sidetrade report measured cash-flow, workload or dispute-management outcomes after implementation?
- Q4 productionDo Builder Studio and Aimie IQ move from firm pre-bookings into production on the stated timetable?
- Sovereignty evidenceWhat audited security, cost and model-performance evidence supports the private-cloud claims at greater agent scale?
