Company profile

Software that moves, checks and retires enterprise data

SNP turns complex enterprise-data changes into repeatable software-led work, especially in SAP landscapes. Its Kyano platform helps teams inspect a system, select and move data, convert non-SAP sources, verify the result and retire old applications without losing access to historical records. Consultants, partners and regional teams apply the same product family to S/4HANA programmes, cloud moves, acquisitions, divestitures and operating-model changes around the world.

Migration control room

Different tools handle SAP, non-SAP and cloud-bound data

Kyano provides the shared environment. CrystalBridge maps and moves selected data between SAP systems; Crossway converts source structures such as Microsoft Dynamics Navision or Deltek Costpoint into an SAP target; Glue connects SAP and non-SAP data with cloud and analytics platforms. This division matters because a carve-out, an S/4HANA conversion and a new data-platform feed do not require the same transformation path.

Transformation in practice

Three projects show the scale hidden behind a system migration

Kalmar's carve-out covered 3 terabytes of data, 37 company codes and legal entities in 26 countries, with 48 hours of downtime. IBM's separation programme affected 150,000 users in 175 countries and reached technical go-live in 34 hours after an 18-month project. Northrop Grumman used Kyano and Crossway to consolidate SAP ECC and Deltek Costpoint into S/4HANA; its official presentation describes a nine-month project and a 70,000-user go-live.

After go-live

Historical access, verification and archiving remain after the move

Datafridge preserves access to historical information while an obsolete application is retired. Validate compares source and target data so teams can check a transformation. Outboard moves older ERP data into an archive while keeping it available for business and compliance needs. These products show why SNP's role can continue beyond cutover: the new system must be trusted, and the old one cannot simply disappear.

Operating model and footprint

A common software platform is delivered through regional teams

SNP's 2025 annual report separates software from services such as ERP consulting, implementation, cloud and application management. It reports activity across Central Europe, Northern Europe and the Middle East, North America, Latin America, and Japan and Asia-Pacific. The locations page translates those regions into offices from Heidelberg and London to the United States, Brazil, Singapore and Japan, while the customer library shows the platform being applied across industries.

Current 2026 update

What is changing at SNP Schneider-Neureither in 2026?

With SAP transformation demand driving more than half of order entry, SNP is shifting migration know-how into software distributed by partners and AI tools embedded around Kyano. The 2026 evidence also separates what is available now, what remains planned and what was still pre-operating at mid-year.

Latest official evidence H1 software, partner and product update Published 30 July 2026

The change in one sentence

Migration expertise is becoming a platform that partners and AI can reuse.

Reseller licences expanded; Lorna Lite is available but the full SAP BTP version remains ahead; Test Data Proposal is intended to expand Kyano, while Oros is described as extending it. Neither initiative discloses customer adoption, and Oros remained pre-operating at 30 June.

Four lenses on 2026

The same four-quadrant format used in the Company profile.

01 · Partner distribution

Partners are becoming a software route to market

H1 order entry through the partner business rose 16% to EUR 98.2 million. Separately, reseller-licence revenue increased from EUR 0.1 million to EUR 4.2 million, helping Software revenue rise 47% to EUR 63.7 million and its Group revenue share to 39.3%. S/4HANA projects represented about 53% of Group order entry. Cloud/SaaS revenue fell 13% to EUR 4.0 million, so the stronger software mix is licence-led rather than evidence of uniform recurring growth.

  • Current signalEUR 98.2m partner orders · EUR 4.2m reseller licences · 53% S/4HANA order entry
  • Why it mattersSNP is trying to scale migration software beyond its consulting capacity, with H1 showing partner reach and licence leverage rather than a completed SaaS transition.

02 · Kyano Lorna

Lorna Lite is available; the full SAP BTP version is still ahead

SNP says Lorna can connect to SAP systems, run SNP tools, scan for risks, generate transformation rules and assist troubleshooting and verification through natural language. Its current product page says Lorna Lite is available within Kyano, while the full version will be available on SAP BTP. It also says customer data is not used to train LLMs and consultants must validate AI output and control critical phases such as issue analysis and go-live. No customer-deployment or productivity measure is disclosed.

  • Current signalLorna Lite available · full BTP version future · consultant validation required
  • Why it mattersSNP is defining AI as an assisted migration workflow, not an autonomous replacement for consultants; adoption and productivity still need evidence.
  • Kyano Lorna launch SNP · 2026-07-08
  • Lorna availability, privacy and oversight SNP · undated

03 · Partner-built extensions

Palantir tackles test data while Oros targets unstructured M&A data

SNP and Palantir describe Test Data Proposal as their first joint solution, intended to expand Kyano by automating identification of relevant data for SAP migration test cases; they also plan work on large SAP Cloud ERP moves. Separately, SNP and Structify established Oros Data LLC to develop AI-based processing of unstructured enterprise data for M&A. SNP cites industry analysts who estimate that unstructured data accounts for around 80% of enterprise information, but the H1 report states Oros had not yet engaged in business activities by 30 June and was not consolidated. Neither initiative discloses customer use or revenue.

04 · What to watch

Three questions for the next disclosures

Three questions track whether partner reach and announced AI products convert into repeatable customer use.

  • Partner mixDo partner order entry and reseller licences remain strong while Cloud/SaaS revenue returns to growth?
  • Lorna rolloutWhen does the full SAP BTP version become available, and does SNP disclose customer deployments or productivity evidence?
  • Joint productsDoes Test Data Proposal reach customer use, and when does Oros begin operating and report customers or revenue?
